We are a State Syllabus school based on Christian Values and Principles delivering the rich traditions and heritage expected from a Christian school with a whole lot more, such as
Our main purpose is to provide quality education to all children irrespective of their background and to bridge the societal gaps through our services
It is through compassion that we go the extra mile with our services, and we instill the same in our students.
We are bound to justice and equality and we firmly believe that every child deserves “The Right To Education”. Children are our future, neglecting the education of our children is choking our own life line.
Knowledge is great, but what’s greater is wisdom. As you grow with us you will imbibe these in our teachings to make wise choices in your life.
Gratitude. A value so delicate and yet so strong that we teach our children the value that leaves lasting impact in their lives.
Finally, we hope our dedication towards the cause helps our students to do better and in turn help others just as we have done.
Note: We have no intention of any religious conversion nor do we pressure students (or their parents) to convert. We impart Christian Values and Teachings based on the BIBLE to instill morality and Values towards oneself and the larger global community.
Our Story
When the founders Dr. D.K Paul Raj and his wife Mrs. Violet Paul Raj had moved into their new home, the house was still under construction and the workers were from the nearby quarry areas.
Their livelihood depended on working in quarry areas breaking rocks. Insufficient pay and hard labor often mean the whole family is involved in work – even the women and small children. Children living in these quarries are not sent to school because their parents could not afford to educate them and the children had to tag along and work with their parents for a daily wage of 5 rupees a day. Yes, Child labor was rampant. The meager wage they earn helps the family survive, but this is destroying young lives and breaking human dignity.
The children were exploited to death having been exposed to dynamites, handling explosives, and playing around large trucks carrying rocks. Many died due to mishaps.
Having witnessed this criminal injustice, the founders were deeply moved and touched by looking at the struggles of these children and decided to help these children from their homes. Gradually, they started school in the living room of their house to educate these children in slavery. They started with eight children.
This was one of the few schools which were completely free for children for the first 14 years of its operation. The mission encountered a lot of resistance and had to brush aside conflicts and opposition from the people there. All of these children were living far below the line of poverty and their families could never imagine the cost of paying for school tuition.
Thus, with no formal class training, the basics of education were freely imparted to children in their house until it developed into an idea. Thousands of underprivileged kids have been liberated thus far. It was later developed into a school and received Recognition by the Government of Karnataka, which saw our charity-driven approach and our missionary mindset.
